In the three years since my last post, I have been on such a journey. In that time, I completed my PhD, found and thrived in a role as the Clinical Director of a local non-profit and had a baby. So much has changed and through that change my focus in my career has evolved. I discovered my drive to help other therapists- fledgling and founded, to hone their skills and grow there practice. Too often there are barriers to counselors and therapists reaching more people and helping more clients. I want to fix that. That’s why I started Bellwether Counseling, PLLC earlier this year.
What is Bellwether?
Bellwether Counseling is a boutique counseling firm offering person-centered counseling via in person and telehealth. It’s tailored to meet the needs of the providers with attractive benefits packages, flexibility, and autonomy. It’s essentially the job I dreamed of when I first started out but was no where to be found. I want to offer this to my colleagues and rescue amazing counselors from the burnout of agency work, the bog of back of office headaches that slow down private practice, and allow them to do the thing that they do best- provide therapy. If you are a clinician interested in joining, send a message. I’m currently cultivating the right group of people who share my focus and desire. If you are a client, checking us out to see if Bellwether is right for you, we certainly aspire to be. Send a message, I’m sure I can find the just-right therapist in our practice to help you!
