We are always looking for new colleagues. Joining Bellwether Counseling means you will be free to enjoy the best part of being a therapist- seeing your clients without the hassle and headache of practice management. All of that is taken care of for you! You will be able to focus on your private practice in well-furnished offices and via Telehealth while collaborating with your fellow sex-positive therapists. Consultation/supervision is also provided weekly and on-demand!

About Bellwether Counseling:
Bellwether Co is a private practice centered around individuals, couples, and family wellness. There is a unique emphasis on sex, sexuality, gender, and communications issues. If this is intimidating, we do offer some training but comfort with addressing the topic of sex therapeutically is highly desired. We offer ongoing training, consultation, and supervision. Your dedication to the field is what we are looking for. You will be able to see all sorts of clients with a variety of issues. Accessibility to counseling services is one of our core values. This is why we choose to accept insurance. We credential with quality panels and negotiate higher rates than what is typically available in a solo practice which means more money for our providers.

- We are a real, locally owned practice, owned by a seasoned Sex Therapist who works in the office alongside fellow therapists and sees clients. We are not a corporate chain. We are not a faceless online service.
- We can fill your calendar quickly based on the amount of clients you want to see. We have a waitlist of clients ready to book. We will NOT put you on a “rotation.”
- Flexible Scheduling. You will get to set your schedule to meet your needs and your family’s needs.
- Salary ($60k-$80k doe) + Healthcare, Vision, Dental, and 4 weeks paid time off.
- We want to see you succeed and be HAPPY in private practice. We take pride in serving our therapists and meeting their needs. When our therapists are happy, they can provide better care for clients!

Here’s what we are looking for in our clinicians:
- Knowledge and interest in treating issues related to sex and gender, and treating couples and individuals
- Ability and willingness to work independently
- Provide caring, thoughtful, and person-centered therapy to a diverse clientele
- Available to book sessions at peak-demand times for clients
- Keep progress notes and diagnoses up to date

- Training and ongoing education in Sex Therapy and other topics like neuroscience

- Applicants must be fully licensed (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in the State of Texas.
- Associate-level clinicians with appropriate training in Sex Therapy will be considered!
